An option for us to "not ruin the surprise" and see what gift has been bought. Maybe we could still figure it out cause the item will be gone from the wishlist, but, a simple email with just like "You've been surprised with a gift! it will arrive..." could be fun for certain times like, birthdays or xmas.

A lot of streamers want to get a notification when someone has bought an item, however they do not want to spoil the surprise of what item it is. They want to open the item on-stream when they receive it.

I heavily second this. I'd love this haha. Even better, if this could like make the gift still show up on your wishlist (when logged in), but not for un-registered users/anyone that isn't you to keep the surprise, that would be awesome.
